Lands of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Distillation:
The grappa is obtained only from the distillation of Pinot Grigio marcs; they are fermented after the separation of the skins from the must; the distillation is partly done using the “Napoletano” copper alembic method with a bain- marie, and partly via the vacuum process so as to obtain the low-temperature distillation point needed to obtain a greater quantity of the aromas contained in the characteristic marc of the vine.

Refinement:
The grappa is refined in durmast oak kegs of Limousine essence.

Color:
Shiny amber with shades of aged walnut wood.

Aroma:
Refined, elegant, of ripe fruit and raisins.

Taste:
Mellow, of vanilla, smooth, sharp, of great aromatic complexity and seasoned essences, notes of aromatic herbs, hazelnut and cedar wood. Serve with: at the end of meals and as a conversation liqueur.

Serving temperature:
At 18-20° in a short-stemmed, wide glass which is able to fill your entire hand.

Soil:
Areas of the Mediterranean.

Process:
Infusion of very big rinds from big lemons in alcohol; the good flavor is obtained through the distillation of figs and persimmons; the rinds are macerated to extract the citrus-fruit aromas.

Color:
Opaque lemon yellow verging on green, hazy, almost cloudy due to the suspension of the aromatic substances.

Aroma:
Clean, of citrus fruits, almost of citron.

Taste:
Mellow, sweet taste which is dry, refined and complex.

Serve with:
At the end of meals with lemon pies or marinated soft fruit.

Serving temperature:
Serve cold at 7-8° in a long-stemmed glass which is shaped like a half mandarin orange.
